Buckle in - this is a big read!

We have designed this handbook to help anyone understand how we work at Up Collective and to keep you updated on our current policies and regulations.

The processes and policies in this handbook are designed to make Up World a special, inclusive and supportive place to work.

Up Collective is a bit of a different place to work.

Our ambition is to build a culture that gives each individual the flexibility they need to make the most of their time on earth and a work environment where we can all thrive.

Flexible and roaming:

We have flexible hours and a roaming culture that means you can design how to make the most of your time. In the past, Lizzie has gone to Mexico for 6 months this year and Pam has moving back to Glasgow. Tim, blocks out a morning a week to take his 2 year old swimming.

Sociable!

Remote doesn’t need to mean unsociable, lonely or unstructured. Instead, you should be able to reflex on how you work best & organise your work life in the way that best serves you. This policy applies to everyone in the company, whether you are full time or a new starter on probation. We provide a budget for co-working space, and for you to grab a coffee during the working day to get out of the house. We really love it when our team meets up!

Commitment to our own development:

Personal development really is our bread and butter. We do this through stretching day jobs & the right conversations when you need them.

Our commitment to inclusion:

We want you to feel you belong here and welcome candidates from all backgrounds. Our organisation is on a continuous journey to achieve an authentic feeling of belonging, with focused inclusion policies and training. We believe it’s not only the right thing to do, but it’s also right for our community - and our industry. If you feel like you belong, you’re more likely to do your best.
